This 2,500 square foot Greenwich Village penthouse was completely gutted and rebuilt by a team of top design professionals. Carolyn's role as Project Manager for Soho Construction Group required that she act as liaison between the interior designer, architect, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and a full crew to ensure that every step of the project ran smoothly and was completed on time.
During this project, Carolyn was on site with her crew daily to make sure the visions of the designer, architect, and clients were realized. Quality control is an important part of project management and Carolyn's strong attention to detail and interior design background enabled her to excel in this position.
Carolyn worked as a Junior Interior Designer for J.D. Bell, Inc. during the renovation of this 2,000-square-foot Tribeca Loft. She worked on every aspect of this project from the creation of construction documents and detailed drawings of custom millwork to the installation of furniture and accessories. She oversaw the entire construction process and worked closely with the contractors, head designer, and clients to create this eclectic space.
